John Lovett, Senior Analyst, Site Technologies and Operations
As a Senior Analyst at JupiterResearch, John Lovett produces research on web site technologies and operations. His focus areas include web analytics, site search technologies, web content management, online commerce platforms, multivariate testing and optimization technologies.
Prior to joining JupiterResearch, John Lovett was the lead Analyst for the Aberdeen Group directing their Online Customer Experience practice. His research increased visibility of web capabilities offered by the vendor community and educated businesses deploying web sites to action. Earlier in his analyst career, Lovett was a Senior Analyst with Gomez Advisors, where he helped companies develop online strategy and execute on their web operations. He is a regular contributor to the eCommerce Times and his research has been cited in Entrepreneur Magazine, MSNBC, B2B Magazine, Internet Retailer and other media outlets. John Lovett holds a BA in English from Colorado State University. He lives in New Hampshire.
Akin Arikan, Director Segment Manager Internet Marketing, Unica Corporation
Akin Arikan is a senior segment manager for internet marketing at Unica Corporation, responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction with Unica's web analytics and internet marketing solutions. Akin has been working with web analytics practitioners over the course of the last six years now and has been presenting at many conference to share the learnings and best practices.
Previously, Akin developed and implemented analytical enterprise applications across various industries. At a business intelligence software vendor, Akin was responsible for the product management of analytical applications, as well as BI server products.
Akin received a degree in computer science and business administration from the University of Hamburg, Germany.
