Seattle Area - Email Manager

As Email Manager, you'll define business objectives, develop campaign strategy, develop testing strategies for product optimization, identify opportunity for new functionality and manage operational aspects to ensure timely delivery. You'll also be responsible for analyzing performance and driving next-generation product versions, and will work closely with other key departments in a cross-functional capacity.
- Drive site traffic supporting the company’s reach objectives.
- Identify, concept and execute new opportunities and functionality driving the program forward.
- Develop test plans and on-going product enhancements to ensure maximum performance.
- Work with Manager and other team members to ensure all efforts align with strategic goals and objectives.
- Analyze day-to-day performance of assigned email products and develop strategy for future performance optimization.
- Work with cross functionally with other Marketing teams to determine campaign goals and success.
- Proactively work with the email production team to streamline process and procedures, minimizing time to market of email products.
- Work closely with Program Management Group and/or other related departments to ensure the timely production and delivery of assigned email products.
- Work closely in cross-functional capacity with key departments such as IT, Marketing, Legal, and Creative Services.
Required Experience:
- A track record in customer retention and increasing site usage by identifying and focusing on customer preferences and needs, connecting with customers and inspiring their desire to return through an imaginative response to their perceived needs and wants.
- Aptitude for technology combined with solid business experience and marketing practices.
- Proven leadership in a team-oriented environment demonstrating the ability to work well cross-functionally and get things done in interdepartmentally in an effective, time-efficient manner.
- Ability to multitask and inter-coordinate projects.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Thorough understanding of email technology and email presentation options.
- Strong response analysis skills.
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment where goals are aggressive and quality is key.
This Job Requires the Following Skills:
- BS/BA from an accredited college or university. Commensurate level of experience may waive the educational requirement.
- 4-5 years of product management or direct response marketing experience.
- Previous database and/or segment marketing skills are required.
- Must have product management and marketing skills in a consumer-focused environment including market research, usability testing, and site behavior statistics.
Education Required:
BS/BA from an accredited college or university. Commensurate level of experience may waive the educational requirement.
