Description

Our client is the Direct and Digital Marketing division of one of the top 5 agencies in the world.  They specialize in
Digital creative, technology, Data and Analytics, modeling and Search Engine optimization.

They are seeking a dynamic and energetic Senior Web Analyst to join their team in San Francisco. The Sr. Analyst
provides high-level, best-in-class website analytics planning,
implementation, support and reporting across a wide range of campaigns. The Sr. Analyst makes website optimization
recommendations to their clients based on available behavioral data,
industry best practices, site/campaign objectives, and budget
constraints. This position reports to the Manager of Web Analytics
and is part of the Strategy and Analytics group.
The ideal candidate for this position will be outgoing, proactive,
well-versed in website analytics and able to work well in both a team
and individual situation.

Skills and Responsibilities
Managing large volumes of website data files for development of
reports and data analysis with interpretation of results in business
context, including detailed findings and implications presented to
key stakeholders at all levels.

Close collaboration with client team and internal teams (account
management, ad analytics, media) to socialize findings to improve
website performance and user experience.

Works with account team to develop digital measurement solutions
comprising defining measurement strategy, vision, and requirements
needs to support business objectives and improve decision making
processes.

Gathers business requirements and identifies measures, approaches
and methodologies for measuring success against objectives. Designs
and generates frameworks that provide insight into the success of
website development programs.

Applying various quantitative methods to analyze and interpret
information from multiple data sources as needed.

Maintaining functional expertise in website analytics best
practices and the tools that support them

Job Requirements

Experience

Qualifications
2+ years experience in website or digital advertising analytics for
an advertising agency or consulting firm required.

Functional knowledge of either Omniture or WebTrends is a must

Experience working in software/technology vertical preferred.

Proven track record of leading analytics strategy with a diverse
and demanding client.

Strong proficiency in the utilization of analytical techniques for
the measurement of web/digital environments, advertising efficacy and
CRM.

Active thought leader with a deep analytical heritage.

Excellent track record in the integration and use of customer data
to develop conclusions, implications, and recommendations that shape
future marketing decisions for high-level clients.

Strong methodological background in development of online tests for
evaluation of website design and creative.
