Wakefield, MA – March 08, 2010 – Today, the Web Analytics Association (WAA) announced that it has hired Mike Levin as executive director for the organization. Reporting directly to the board of directors, Mike will provide the day-to-day operational leadership for the organization. Levin brings over 20 years of association management experience to his role with the WAA and a successful track record in strategically leading and managing trade associations.

Levin previously served as the executive director of the Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG), where he was responsible for managing the relationship with Oracle and all operations including membership, programs, education, sponsorships, advertising, international alliances, global conferences, trade shows and brand marketing. Prior to OAUG, Levin was responsible for executing national objectives for the American Electronics Association, now Techamerica, as executive director of their southwest regional office. He will leverage experience from these roles and more to provide strategic direction for the WAA, taking the organization to the next level of leadership in the analytics industry.

“The WAA has been growing steadily over the years with the help of our association management company, Virtual Inc., and dedicated volunteers, and I’m overwhelmingly impressed with the progress we have made to date,” said Jim Sterne, WAA chairman. “Mike Levin represents the talent that we need to kick things into high gear, and he has the experience and the passion to take us to the next level. I am delighted, thrilled and grateful that Mike has joined us.”
