Web Analytics Association Symposium to
Address Social Media Metrics, Case Studies and the Future of Web Analytics
Wakefield,
MA - August 27, 2010 - The Web
Analytics Association (WAA) will present a symposium and networking event
in Seattle, WA on the Microsoft Campus.
On September 13, from 1:00-5:00 p.m., the WAA
Seattle Symposium will bring together web analytics and business
professionals from throughout the Pacific Northwest for a day of learning and
professional development.
The
WAA Symposium will feature thought-leading presentations from world-class web
analytics experts and visionaries.
Attendees will walk away with a better understanding of web analytics
best practices and tips for turning data into business insights.
Among
notable sessions on the agenda, author and eMetrics Marketing Optimization
Summit Founder Jim Sterne will deliver a keynote presentation during which he
will share insights from his latest book, "Social Media Metrics.” Later in the afternoon, web analytics gurus
Eric T. Peterson and John Lovett of Web Analytics Demystified will provide
attendees with a top-ten countdown of the impending changes facing the
industry.
Additionally,
attendees will have an opportunity to hear from industry veterans and experts
as they share their views on where the web analytics industry is heading and
what analysts must do today to stay ahead of the curve. To conclude the educational portion of the
evening, Ronny Kohavi, general manager EXP for Microsoft, will share four
real-life examples of how organizations have incorporated measurements and experiments
into their decision-making process to achieve better business results.
